This sculpture was commissioned by the Kamms after they saw the artist’s work at the SOFA Chicago art exposition in 2008. Forsythe had produced a series of sculptures and installations in which he had meticulously covered found objects and interiors with gold leaf. You can see the sculpture here on which the Kamm commission was based.
